The NHS had recently announced that there will be more than 30 new NHS vaccine centres to start delivering vaccinations this week. Amongst the new vaccination centres, some notable venues have been transformed to deliver jabs safely, including the Black Country Living Museum, a former IKEA store at the Westfield shopping centre in Stratford, the Nightingale Hospital in Sunderland, the Francis Crick Institute, and the Blackpool Winter Gardens.
The new additions of these large-scale vaccination centres will mean that there will be a network of almost 50 vaccination centres across the country. This will also help speed up the rate of vaccinations in efforts to meet the target of 15 million by mid-February.
In order for these new large-scale venues to deliver vaccinations safely, they will need to have precautions and PPE in place to protect staff and visitors to these sites.
